Spring Youth Spring Soccer Registration
Dedham Youth Soccer Program Registration is now underway. Children must be 5 years old by September 01, 2009 to be eligible. No exceptions. Fees and deadlines are as follows.
Youth Soccer Fees:
Single registration: $65
Two registrations, same family: $120
Family ceiling for three or more registrations: $130
Late registration fees: $25

- Junior/Senior (2nd and 3rd Grade)

Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Youth Deperession
A presentation for adults by John Halligan 7PM-8:30PM at Dedham High School Auditorium (map). John Halligan's son, Ryan, died by suicide on Oct. 7, 2003 after being bullied by classmates at school and online. He was 13 years old.
Halligan's presentation will cover the lessons learned too late for his family regarding how to deal with bullying, cyberbullying, and teen depression. Parents will be empowered with strategies to take preventive actions with their own children.

Dedham Square Public Hearing
7PM at Dedham Town Hall there will be a public hearing on the Dedham Square Improvement Project. Learn more about the design plans aimed at making the Square safer for pedestrians and motorists while making aesthetic improvements such
as brick-lined sidewalks and gas lamps. The public-private partnership with the town has been a major factor in moving this project forward.

Lego Club
3-4PM at the the Dedham Parks and Recreation building (map).
This is a new, parent volunteer run group. Kids 6-14 years old can bring their own sets, or we will have sets that can be borrowed. Kids can be dropped off to play or parents are welcome to stay. The program began on January 32rd. For more information or to register online, visit

Comfort Food Dinner
5PM-7:30PM at First Church in Dedham (map).
All are welcome to head over to First Church for a feast of your favorite homemade comfort foods - Soup, Mac’n Cheese, Salad Bread, and Cookies! Adults: $10, Children 6-12 yrs: $5, Children 5 and under: free. Eat in or take out. For

DCH Summer Camp Open House
6PM-7:30PM at Dedham Community House (map).
The main purpose of the Dedham Community House Summer Camp Program is to provide a safe, comfortable, enriching, and reliable child care environment that fosters emotional maturity and promotes the physical, social, and intellectual well-being of the school-aged child. Camp activities include
swimming, archery, fishing, field games, Friday barbecues, weekly field trips and much more.

2nd Annual DCH Troplcal Cocktail Party
7PM at Dedham Community House (map).
Hors d'oeuvres, desserts, lei's, live tropical music, and a welcomed warm atmosphere. Cash bar, casual attire - Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts optional. $40 per person, $45 at the door. Visit

Rock'n for Robyn
At the American Legion Post (map).
Featuring entertainment: Live Band- CLOCKWORK, raffles, silent auction, door prizes, light appetizers, cash bar. Loads of fun...hope to see you. This event raises monies for the Robyn Michelle Nelson Memeorial Scholarship Fund, that was founded in efforts to give back to Dedham by providing
scholarships to the Dedham graduates begining 2013, the year Robyn would have graduated. Our fundraising efforts are underway! Please help us keep Robyn's memeory alive by attending the event, providing raffle/silent auction item, or cash donation.
