Yes. The strength of DedhamSquare.com lies in the strength and diversity of the Dedham Square businesses. If you're reading this tour, you probably have internet access of some kind. However, you don't need to have a website to register or to take advantage of some of the opportunities to increase your visibility to customers. Yes. DedhamSquare.com offers a range of services for both online and print applications designed to suit most budgets and help your business grow - including custom web design, page templates, online promotions, and web hosting; Plus logos, print ads, brochures, and more. When you create your Profile, be sure to check the features and additional services that interest you.

Is DedhamSquare.com part of the Dedham Square Circle?
No. Although DedhamSquare.com has and will continue to work with the Dedham Square Circle, it's a new business in Dedham. In addition to an enhanced listing on DedhamSquare.com, services will include high quality design and unique promotional opportunities for individual businesses. So while the main focus of the Square Circle is the overall Square - the bigger, long range goals, DedhamSquare.com can better meet the current needs of individual businesses - the parts working together for a better overall result.

Who owns DedhamSquare.com?
DedhamSquare.com is owned and operated by designer and 13-yr Dedham resident, Steve Davey. Steve has 20+ years experience (11 on the internet) working with some of the biggest companies, developing some of the most recognizable brands in the world. Prior to starting a family, one might have found a deep groove between Steve's house and downtown Boston. But since then, wanting to become more involved locally, Steve approached Peter Reynolds and Sarah MacDonald, of the Dedham Square Circle and volunteered to design the DSC website. The idea of DedhamSquare.com was later born to work in conjunction with many of the DSC's goals and to help make the local business community more competitive.

If I register now, do I have to use only your services?
No. You remain free to choose who you'd like to use for design and promotional services. Or you may choose to only create a profile - that alone will make your business more visible. But DedhamSquare.com will offer a range of high quality services, designed to meet a variety of needs and budgets, while taking your visibility to a higher level. When you create your profile, there will be a list of services to check off or write in. You'll be contacted with more information about any that interest you, but are under no obligation to go further.

My business information is listed on the Dedham Square Circle web directory. Why would I need to list here, too?
More in line with its grassroots nature, The Dedham Square Circle Business Directory will soon become a Member Directory. This will provide different opportunities and a greater level of community recognition for member businesses and individuals who who expend their time, money, and efforts for the DSC's worthy goals. If you're already a DSC member, great - your business name will still be listed there. If not, becoming a member is encouraged. The new DedhamSquare.com Enhanced Profile business directory will contain more information about the nature of your business creating a powerful search feature on the DedhamSquare.com website, and improving your ranking among larger search engines like Yahoo! and Google.

My business is in Dedham but isn't in Dedham Square. Can I be a part of DedhamSquare.com?
Currently, to have a profile on DedhamSquare.com, your business needs to be located in Dedham Square. But you can take advantage of several of our online and print design services. Plus, other promotional opportunities will be available in the near future. You're encouraged to fill out our profile form and to request more information about your needs and interests. We'll contact you about your requests and keep you updated on what else develops to help your business.
